I am not sure that zillow.com and other real estate companies can be killed by google.com. My question is: when user wants to ask some questions about selling home, who in google.com team will answer their question? We do a lot of it in our web site and I am not sure what we do google can handle. Of course, they are doing very good in maps and other stuff which can be successfully incorporated in any real estate web site.
Unless I do not understand something.

As Jim said, you're talking apples and oranges here. The Google search is soley for finding properties. The only thing the two have in common is using mapping, something that tens, if not hundreds of sites now do.

Careful what you say . . .

You are talking apples and oranges (and pears) here. Google's real estate search is more competition to Craigslist and Trulia than Zillow or Redfin.
Zillow is for home values, albeit no better than 'for entertainment purposes only.' Google is doing NO such thing.
Redfin is a discount commission service. Google is doing NO such thing.

Yeah, I'll give you that. It's not a Zillow-killer so much as an interesting incursion on the most fundamental features of both Zillow and Redfin. Both of those companies go well beyond mapping properties for sale (we'll all have something to talk about the day Google starts offering full-service agents like Redfin), but Google has once again made a move that makes sure the competition keeps alert.

I would have to disagree with your title of this post. To me I think Zillows main feature is to show you comparisions of neighbors properties. Not that I am a Zillow fan, just my two cents.
