A Message from Richard Washington

On November 27th, 2005, Santa Claus: The Movie will mark its 20th Anniversary. That's why this website changed its name to KringleQuest.com; and made the change official as of Santa Claus: The Movie's 16th Anniversary, Tuesday, November 27th, 2001. Regardless, I can't afford to mince words here, boys and girls: this site still needs your support and encouragement.

That's why, since New Year's Day, 2001 our plan has been to stick around for the long haul --- determined never to stop until Anchor Bay Entertainment gives the world the definitive DVD version of SCTM that the world has been longing for. Our Fight to Letterbox segment, presently under re-construction, will recap all the additional details. Look for it back up here soon!

Ultimately, this website seeks to become a vital part of the Christmas landscape for these next few seasons to come; hopefully, therefore, our ultimate intent is to serve as an important and central resource for fans of Santa Claus: The Movie. We need your comments, questions, ideas, possible information --- anything you can supply that will assist these pages in achieving their key mandate: SCTM in all its fully-restored, widescreen glory, as its creators had originally intended ..... with a few special extras, as well.

Having said all this, we hope you will continue to check us out, even as we continue to do our best to make this site fresh and new. Remember, on November 27th, 2005, KringleQuest.com will blow out the candles on Santa Claus: The Movie's 20th Anniversary birthday cake..... and, as was the case before, when we were just plain ol' SCTM.com in those days of old, we hope you'll be able to stick with us. Merry Christmas!

Sincerely yours,

RICHARD WASHINGTON
