Here are some links to a few of our favorite Santa Claus/Christmas-themed homepages! It took a lot of effort to determine which ones met our (and Yahoo!/GeoCities') standards, and which ones did not. But we think all the sites we explored had their bytes in the right place, if you will --- which is to say, these were places in cyberspace where, hopefully, an elf could feel right at home:

  • United Design Corp.'s "The Legend of Santa Claus" Newsletter --- yet another special Santa collectibles site.
  • The Santa Maker --- Barbara Demers of Dunbarton, NH, whose original handcrafted Santa designs are one-of-a-kind.
  • Audrey and Don Wood and Family --- creators of King Bidgood's in the Bathtub and The Christmas Adventure of Space Elf Sam.
  • Santapark Arctic Circle --- Finnish Lapland claims to be the real Top of the World; and Rovaniemi, its capital city, boasts of being Santa's real hometown. They're sure ready to prove it with this spectacular underground theme park!
  • Santatelevision.com --- produced in and around Rovaniemi by the appropriately named Joulupukki TV Oy (Joulupukki means Santa Claus in Finnish!), this is the Internet's only television network devoted exclusively to Santa! It broadcasts throughout Finland, the rest of Europe, and even Japan!
  • Santa Claus' Office @ Mt. Korvatunturi, Finnish Lapland --- well, naturally, that's Big Red's home away from home, complete with its own Greeting Center, Post Office and Radio Network! You may also click here to experience the Boss, live from his Korvatunturi domain!
  • The Santa Claus of Greenland Foundation --- Previously hosted the annual World Congress of Santa Claus; currently the "opposing force" in an ongoing albeit amiable 'Santa war' with the folks in Rovaniemi.
  • SantaWorld Park, Gesunda, Sweden --- another active participant in the aforementioned Santa wars with Finland and Greenland.
  • The Coca-Cola Company's Sundblom Santa --- In 2001, Haddon Sundblom's Please Pause Here got a special treatment from Oscar-winning animator Alexandre Petrov! For now, see what else is happening in the world of the Real Thing!
  • Auntie Claus ---From her elegant penthouse in Midtown Manhattan's historic Bing Cherry Hotel, the Boss' big sister and her biographer, Elise Primavera, invite believers to join them for tea and strawberries!
  • The Volunteers of America Sidewalk Santa Campaign --- one of NYC's most enduring holiday icons (other than Santa himself, of course!).
  • Frank DeFritas' Santa Tracking Page, Allentown, PA
  • The Professional Association of Santa's Elves, Inc. --- dedicated to sharing Santa's wisdom with deserving charitable causes worldwide!
  • Holiday World and Splashin' Safari, Santa Claus, Indiana --- Has Santa been known to cool off on a summer's day at this combination Christmas theme park/waterslide extravaganza? Let's put it this way: It could only happen in Santa Claus, Indiana!
  • Wayne Towne Center Mall, Wayne, NJ --- Home of Northern New Jersey's #1 Claus!
  • Fantasy Lights Celebrations @ Storybookland, Cardiff, NJ --- This park is open during Santa's busiest season (which is good news for us Elves!).
  • Santa's Workshop Highway 24, North Pole, Colorado --- the Boss' Kingdom in the Rocky Mountains, near Denver.
  • Santa's Workshop, North Pole, NY --- close to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain, this is the park considered by most theme-park historians as America's first great theme park.... i.e., the one that started the whole theme-park industry to begin with.
  • Santa's Village, Jefferson, NH --- This Realm for Santa is located near the Canadian-American border.
  • Christmas @ Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, TN --- Santa and Dolly Parton. What more do you need to know?
  • The Land of Make-Believe, Lodi, NJ --- the celebrated home of Santa's Barn and Petting Zoo.
  • Six Flags Over Texas @ Arlington --- home of the Holiday in the Park Christmas Festivals, another Santa-themed event which speaks for itself.
  • The 3 Worlds of Santa's Village, Dundee, IL --- This Kingdom for the Boss is located close to Chicago. (Somehow, Santa always has these links to the Windy City.)
  • Christmas @ Fairy Tale Forest Park, Oak Ridge, NJ
  • Santa's Wonderland @ the Demarest Farmhouse, Hillsdale, NJ
  • Atlantis Marine World's Winter Wonderland, Riverhead, L.I., NY --- Ever wonder how Santa would deliver his gifts to King Neptune and all of his loyal subjects under the sea? The answer's right here!
  • NORAD's Santa Tracking Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado --- For over 50 years, the joint U.S.-Canadian satellite tracking system has scanned the skies each Christmas Eve for even the slightest glimpse of Santa. Now, watch again --- or experience it for the first time! --- as the NORAD Santa Squad, working out of America's Underground Bunker, reveals the secrets of watching out for our favorite miniature sleigh!
  • Santa's CyberSleigh --- It's sleek. It's fast. It's out of this Multiverse! And while it doesn't exactly replace the Patchmobile, there is a story behind this awesome vehicle! Check it out!
  • Rick Goldschmidt's "The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass" --- If you can't wait to share another Christmas with Rudolph and Frosty, or if you want to remember all those other series and specials developed by animation pioneers Arthur Rankin, Jr. and Jules Bass --- here's your special place in cyberspace! Rick's site, based on his book of the same title, features all the latest news and info on one of classic TV's most unsung legacies!
  • Heat Miser's Hot Spot and Snow Miser's Big Chill ---- Since the definitive Rankin/Bass songs are the two that Maury Laws and Jules Bass wrote for the Miser Brothers, from R/B's The Year Without a Santa Claus, naturally there had to be two seperate sites, one for each Miser. And heeeeeere they are!
  • Beth Fishkind's "The Gift of the Misfit" --- from the files of the International Association of Xena-oid Studies comes this rather unorthodox essay, wherein the author compares Rankin/Bass' Rudolph to the Warrior Princess!
  • The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, starring the Rockettes --- New York's biggest and best holiday jamboree is connected to Santa Claus: The Movie in that an on-film series of excerpts from the film's "Sleigh Ride Over Manhattan" sequence used to open the show every night!
  • "The Quiltmaker's Gift" --- In this now-classic holiday fairtyale from Scholastic and Pfiefer/Hamilton Publishers, Jeff Brumbeau and Gail deMarcken tell the inspiring story of a selfish King who discovers the wonder of sharing .... with the help of an old quiltmaker whose gifts are truly special.

  • SantaClausSuits.com --- one of the Web's best resources for suits, wigs and beards, and other Clausian accesories.
  • Creative Costume Company, NYC --- a extensive line of Santa costumes (and costumes for the rest of the year, too!).
  • Christmas w/Raleigh Creative Costumes, Raleigh, NC --- Self-explanatory. (Or, should I say, elf-explanatory? [Sorry folks, I had to get that one in there!])
  • Planet Santa --- a service of Pierre's Costumes of Philadelphia, and the place where Santa shops for his clothes!
  • The Incredible Christmas Store --- Located at the Rockefeller Center Concourse, here is the only year-'round holiday store worth checking out!
  • Cherry Hill Photo Enterprises, Inc. --- one of the East Coast's largest suppliers of Kringles for shopping malls, and home of (the incredibly top-secret!) Santa Claus University!
  • The Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School, Midland, MI; Tom Valent, Dean --- Founded in 1937, this is the world's oldest school for potential Santas! Dean Valent and his Mrs. Claus, the aptly-named Holly, have journeyed throughout England, Scandinavia and anyplace else where Santa is needed! Cool, huh?
  • SantaSchool.com --- from Calgary, Alberta, comes another way-cool class for would-be Clauses!
  • Santa to the Stars --- That would be Hollywood's one and only Brady White, whose rendition of the Boss is so legendary that he has had his beard insured by Lloyd's of London!
  • Bob & Felicia Mendte's SantaforHire.com --- So, do you still wanna do a Santa gig? Here's the site you need to bookmark!
  • Planet Christmas --- Not too sure about this one, but it has to do with a guy from Tennessee named Chuck Smith who just looooooves Christmas lights.
  • Dean Morrissey's "The Christmas Ship" --- All aboard the most magical of this artist's books since the best-selling Ship of Dreams! The Port of Old Bridgeport, CT, will never be the same once Father Christmas (the Boss, of course!) sails into town to save the day!
  • Santa B. Claus' Page --- Bernie Sharpe of Toronto helps Santa fulfill all his fans' dearest wishes on this live webcam-based site, complete with pictures, links, the works! Cool!
  • Nicholas S. Claus, from Seattle, is a card-carrying member of the Amalgamated Brotherhood of Real-Beard Santas, and has journeyed all over the world --- Cleveland, Washington, D.C., London, Paris --- and even Hong Kong!
  • Mr. & Mrs. Santa A. Claus --- Pennsylvania's #1 Kringle and his Missus welcome you to their online Kingdom.
  • NCLA-TV5's "Talk to Santa" --- From the campus of the State University of New York at Freedonia comes one of the Upstate Region's most enduring Christmas traditions, as the Boss and his faithful elf, Holly, take live calls from their many fans! Here's a behind-the-scenes peek!
  • Paul Dini's Jingle Belle --- She's Santa's daughter. She rocks. And she's wondering why the dude who created Batman: The Animated Series is telling her story. Go figure.
  • Santaland --- the Web's oldest Santa-related search engine!
